Dakota Kai’s Shocking Message to Damage CTRL

On Raw, WWE Superstar Dakota Kai and his faction Damage CTRL members Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane are facing significant challenges. After wreaking havoc on SmackDown last year, the faction is now facing major problems on the red brand.

Damage CTRL was drafted to WWE Raw in April. Shortly after the draft, the faction suffered a major setback when Asuka and Kairi Sane lost their tag team titles to Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill at WWE Backlash in France. A few weeks later, Asuka announced that she had suffered a knee injury that required surgery, which would keep her out of action for an extended period of time. This was another blow to the faction, as veteran Asuka would now be absent from Damage CTRL for an extended period of time.

Following Asuka’s injury, the faction has faced a series of setbacks. This has led to speculation that Damage CTRL is on the verge of disbanding. Leader Iyo Sky has mentioned that the faction is set to change due to these challenges. Additionally, this week on WWE Raw, Dakota Kai failed to qualify for the women’s Money in the Bank match, despite help from Kairi Sane.

Following Kai’s defeat, Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter, and Katana Chance ambushed the Damage CTRL faction backstage. The defeat and subsequent attack left the faction members frustrated. Meanwhile, Dakota Kai later sent a shocking message to the faction, hinting at a possible breakup.

After failing to qualify for the women’s Money in the Bank match, Dakota Kai hinted that she would be parting ways with Damage CTRL. After the show, Kai posted an image of the faction on X (formerly Twitter) with an hourglass emoji, hinting at a potential breakup.

Recently, Dakota Kai became emotional during her Twitch stream while discussing her current commitment to WWE. She expressed frustration at not having opportunities as a solo competitor, especially outside of NXT. Kai emphasized her desire for a chance to prove herself and called for support from her audience.

Dakota Kai has hinted that she’s going to split from Damage CTRL. Could this mark the beginning of her long-awaited single career? Only time will tell.
