The Mid-Penn Conference boys tennis season saw many memorable efforts on the courts throughout the regular season and postseason.

Here are some of the players who made it all possible: the 2024 PennLive Men’s Tennis All-Star Team.

Aidan Mahaffey (Player of the Year)

School: Palmyra

Year: Senior

The Mahaffey File: Mahaffey capped his senior season by teaming with his brother Tyler to win the PIAA Class 2A state doubles title for the third straight time and the District 3, Class 2A doubles tournament title for the fourth straight year. Mahaffey, who was recognized this spring by PennLive as an outstanding student, will continue his tennis career at Lafayette College.

Rowan Bayley

School:Trinity

Year:First-year student

The Bayley File: The Shamrocks’ freshman won the second singles title of the Mid-Penn Conference Class 2A tournament and teamed with Andrew Tran to win the MPC district qualifying doubles title.

School Cumberland Valley

Year: Senior

The Kluger File:Kluger had a breakout season as the Eagles’ No. 1 singles player. Kluger won his first-round match at the District 3, Class 3A singles tournament before losing in the quarterfinals.

Tyler Mahaffey

School: Palmyra

Year: Senior

The Mahaffey File: Mahaffey, in addition to teaming with his brother Aidan, won the PIAA Class 3A state doubles title for the third time and the District 3, Class 3A doubles title for the fourth time. Mahaffey finished his singles career in style by winning the Mid-Penn Conference Class 3A singles crown.

Andrew Tran

School:Trinity

Year: Senior

The Tran File:Trinity’s No. 1 singles player missed the playoffs as a junior due to injury but rebounded his senior year to win the Mid-Penn Conference Class 2A singles crown. Tran teamed with teammate Rowan Bailey to win the MPC 2A doubles title.

Honorable mention: Michael Chotiner (Central Dauphin); Ian Aunkst (Eastern Pennsylvania), Brogan Barlup (Eastern Pennsylvania), Connor Hacker (Eastern Pennsylvania), Mason Dissinger (Lower Dauphin), Brayden Waiter (Lower Dauphin).Aidan Mahaffey (Player of the Year)
