Fulham consider improved offer for Emile Smith Rowe after Arsenal transfer bid rejected

Arsenal have rejected an offer from Fulham to sign Emile Smith Rowe.

The Cottagers are considering increasing their transfer offer in the hope of improving their attack for the new campaign. Crystal Palace have also been mentioned.

Smith Rowe, 23, made just three Premier League starts for Arsenal last season after a lengthy injury-hit spell and would be open to leaving if he can secure a first-team place away from north London.

The Gunners are believed to be open to offers for the three-time England international as they look to cash in on a number of fringe players who have failed to nail down a place in Mikel Arteta’s squad.

Fulham have already lost Bobby De Cordova-Reid to Leicester after his contract expired and there remains uncertainty over Willian’s future after his contract expires.

Smith Rowe is contracted to Arsenal until 2026.
