Report: Manchin Considering Democratic Presidential Bid

Sen. Joe Manchin, IW.Va., is considering re-registering as a Democrat and running for president, CNN reports.

Manchin had previously urged President Joe Biden to “pass the torch to a new generation” before the president dropped his candidacy Sunday afternoon. Manchin, who was a member of the Democratic Party until May, has supported an open process to find a new nominee.
