Popular Crafts Fair Saved from Cancellation

She said more than 35 exhibitors from the Far North will be gathered under one roof for two days, with the Friday session running from noon to 6 p.m. and the Saturday session from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“This is the only annual indoor show of this scale in Kaitāia and a celebration of some of the creative talent found in the far north,” Tothill said.

“You’ll find a range of accomplished artisans displaying their latest creations available for sale. We have local artisan food producers ready to stock your pantry and wow your guests with culinary delights from the Great North.”

There will also be herbalists and natural health practitioners ready to share their knowledge of proven health care along with their product line.

“Be inspired by the upcycling efforts of our local designers on display and for sale. Upcycled furniture, repurposed jeans and transformed everyday household items, to name a few.

“We have local published writers ready to sign their literary works upon your purchase. Ready to chat with all aspiring writers and share their literary journey.”

There will also be quality clothing from spinners and weavers from the Far North.

“For those looking for well-executed fantasy, you will be delighted by the presentation of Fairy Creative and Whimsical.”

Tothill said it was an opportunity to get inspired, make a big difference to gift shopping for the year and stock up on standby gift items such as soaps, cards and items that are easy to send overseas.
