Comforta Redwood City, Calif.-based digital health platform provider, has raised $14 million in Series A funding.

The round was led by Inspired Capital with participation from existing backers Craft Ventures and Torch Capital, as well as new investors including Anne Wojcicki, Susan Wojcicki, RiverPark Ventures and Coalition Operators.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of its digital platform for patients and advocates and expand its healthcare advocate network and coverage across the United States.

Co-founded by Jeremy Gurewitz and Sara Sargent, Solace is a digital platform that connects people with specialized, insured health advisors. Using proprietary technology to connect people with dedicated, personal advisors, the company reduces healthcare red tape and supports individuals and families.

Solace is now available in all 50 states
