Masterchef judge Gregg Wallace was left horrified after a star of the show made a huge blunder.

The blunder happened on Monday and left Gregg, 59, in disbelief as the four remaining contestants battled for a place in the quarter-finals.

Celebrities who worked their magic in the kitchen included actresses Danielle Harold and Rochenda Sandall, comedian Eshaan Akbar and athlete and gladiator Harry Aikines-Aryeetey.

And it was Harry who had all eyes on him as he made a huge blunder that shocked Gregg.

The celebrities had to complete three challenges, and it was during the first task, called Paris Challenge, that Harry failed.

Harry made a kitchen faux pas when he forgot to close the oven door completely while trying to make Rochenda’s samosas.

And it was Gregg’s co-host John Torode, 59, who spotted Harry’s mistake, exclaiming: “Harry left his oven door open.”

Gregg joked: “Now if there’s anyone big and strong enough to shut an oven door, it’s Harry! Now you don’t know if they’re going to cook or not.”

But Harry managed to save his loved one cooking fail and pleased Gregg and John with the dish he presented.

Gregg said to him: “I think they’re brilliant, I’m really impressed,” and John added: “You’ve done a brilliant job here, they look very similar.”

They did not fail to mention the oven door error and said to Harry: “The lamb is slightly overcooked. Your samosa is undercooked, you did not close the oven door.”

Harry, Rochenda and Danielle managed to qualify for the quarter-finals, but Eshaan was unfortunately sent home.

And perhaps it was for the best that Eshaan was the one to leave, after being accused of nearly killing Gregg Wallace twice after serving raw chicken on both occasions.

The comedian was horrified when he first failed to cook chicken liver properly and served another meal the same day that was very undercooked.

Trying the second course, Gregg remarked, “We’re a little pink Here, it’s really a shame because your flavors are magnificent.”

Eshaan then moaned: “I can’t believe I gave Gregg Wallace undercooked chicken twice in one day, this will haunt me forever.”

Those watching at home were very amused by this, especially because it still wasn’t enough to get him sent home. Chloe.

One person commented: “Eshaan nearly killed Gregg twice. His reward, a spot in the following round. Beautiful scenes.

A second one remarked: “This is the second time Eshaan has nearly poisoned Gregg. Get him to the next round ASAP.”

And a third added: #CelebrityMasterChef Ishan has two undercooked dishes… Twice unlucky! With Chloe in the competition, he won’t be going home!

Despite his mistakes, the judges – Gregg and John Torode – were impressed by his flavour combinations.
