Hector Ó hEochagáin from Navan among guests on the Late Late Show this Friday

Navan podcaster and presenter Hector Ó hEochagáin is one of the guests scheduled for tomorrow night’s Late Late Show.

The Gaeilgeoir is in studio to talk about the Irish words and phrases we should know and use and what he’s up to now that he’s no longer making his weekly trip to Hen House alongside fellow podcasters Tommy Tiernan and Laurita Blewitt.

Also making her Late Late Show debut, European sprint champion Rhasidat Adeleke will be in studio for her first interview in Ireland since the Paris Olympics. Rhasidat joins Patrick this Friday evening to talk about his record-breaking season, the Diamond League, his return to Ireland, and his recent meeting with one of his biggest fans – Rihanna!

The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue and Glen Power sit down with Patrick to share memories of bandmate Mark Sheehan; they’ll talk family, get sober, fly high with PINK, and play live acoustic performances from their back catalog.

In a week when the war has spread to Lebanon, where the civilian death toll continues to rise amid fears of a major escalation, Irish humanitarian John Whyte is in studio to give a image of his life working with UNRWA in the epicenter of the conflict in Gaza, before returning there next week.

Plus, it’s time to dust off your cowboy boots as Patrick will be heading live to a secret location where country music fans will have a chance to get their hands on the latest pair of tickets to be in the audience for The Late Late Country. Music Special, Friday October 4!
