Türkiye’s iconic Topkapi Palace offers night tours for the first time

The Topkapi Palace Museum will offer night tours for the first time since its inauguration in 1924, according to a statement from the Directorate of National Palaces.

The Palace Museum will be open for visits for an exclusive session offered on Saturday from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. (local time).

The tours will be conducted in different groups, with the first starting on Saturday at 9 p.m. Each group will have a capacity of up to 300 visitors, management said.

Tours will begin and end at Bab-ı Hümayun Gate, the main entrance to the iconic palace.

Visitors will have the chance to see the Divan-ı Hümayun (Imperial Council), the Kubbealtı building and the clock gallery of the palace.

In the Harem section, visitors will discover various rooms, including the recently opened Kuşhane Kitchen in the concubine quarter. Other sections of the palace can also be visited.

Tickets for the exclusive evening tours will be available at the ticket offices located in front of the palace.
