Riley Leonard is healthy and ready to play for Notre Dame football

There is no doubt that the Notre Dame football team needs a healthy Riley Leonard to have a successful 2024 campaign. There is also no doubt that despite rumors that he recovered toward the end of spring training, there is concern that he may be a little fragile.

Some fear the ankle injury the Irish caused when Leonard was with Duke could torment him for months. Maybe even for the rest of his career. However, the quarterback wants you to know he’s back. He’s better than everHe is ready to go.

This week, Leonard was in Louisiana at Manning Passing AcademyHe left Louisiana with hardware, winning the Air It Out Championship while competing against some of the best quarterbacks in the country.

While he was there, he talked about how he was feeling, just a month away from the official start of spring practice for the Notre Dame football team.

“I am in very good health,” Leonard stated emphatically during an interview session. “If you walked around my body, you wouldn’t know you had any injuries. I feel good, I have no limits as far as the training I do, so I feel good. »

Perhaps better than that, the quarterback has made it clear that he’s doing things to make sure he stays healthy. He’s doing things to try to make sure he doesn’t get hurt again.

“There’s a lot of different things that I’ve been able to improve in my body as far as rotations, arm strength, that I’ve been able to focus on while rehabbing my injury that I think I can really improve on. ” » added Leonard.

The Notre Dame football team is about to find out if Riley Leonard brings the goods. If he is, this could be one hell of a season to remember.
