‘We need to stop whining’: Rev. Al Sharpton slams Democrats for doing Trump’s job

Responding to Democratic lawmakers behind the scenes criticizing President Joe Biden to reporters after his poor debate performance, MSNBC anchor Rev. Al Sharpton said they are helping Donald’s attempts Trump to destroy his rival.

Visibly furious, Sharpton blasted liberals’ knee-jerk response to Biden’s poor performance before the dust had even settled — and said everyone needed to stop complaining.

“He had a bad night, a terrible night, but let’s not say, ‘Wait a minute, he helped preserve and maintain affordable care, he fought for police reform by giving the executive order on George Floyd, brought down the unemployment numbers after a catastrophe that Donald Trump inflicted on us,’” he told the MSNBC “Morning Joe” panel.

“The black unemployment rate is historically low,” he continued. “Really, it’s all there: the infrastructure bill, the inflation bill. We’re not going to give him the weekend to see if he can recover? »

“I think we can’t, we have to stop complaining and start winning,” he said. “It is the whiners and the winners who must make a choice in this matter. »

“The other side, and I’ll finish, is this what happens if he steps down?” he asked before predicting: “We’re going to have a wild convention? We’re going to have this mob against this mob against this mob? All Donald Trump has to do is sit back, grab a Big Mac and watch the Democrats destroy each other.”
