Inspired Interior – Modern Building Services

Lucent Lighting has been chosen to light a new restaurant in Cardiff. Six By Nico offers a unique dining experience and its first destination in Wales is inspired by the street food of the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi.

In keeping with the dynamic menu, the restaurant’s interior draws on the original features of the space, in keeping with Cardiff’s medieval and Victorian Gothic architecture, with dynamic modern additions. Studio Two Interiors created the striking interior design, specifying lighting solutions from Lucent Lighting’s extensive range.

The interior is warm and welcoming, yet exudes a vibrant energy that contributes to the excitement and buzz of Six By Nico’s ever-changing menu. Gothic elements such as stained glass windows, artwork and murals pay homage to the traditional aspects of the space and nearby Cardiff Castle. The new design concept that Studio Two has created for the brand offers a core DNA palette that adapts to each new location, drawing inspiration from local landmarks to deliver a different experience in each venue.

Lighting is a key element in the evolution of the spaces from daytime offerings to intimate evening ambiances. The design introduces an individuality inspired by each location while ensuring a strong overall brand image that diners can expect from the Six By Nico experience.
