Wellube Announces Strategic Partnership with ICR Group

Experts in flow management intervention and integrity, Wellube, a Unique Group company, has announced a strategic partnership with ICR Group, to provide ICR’s bespoke technology solutions in the Middle East and India.

This collaboration aims to introduce ICR’s advanced products – including the Technowrap composite repair system, Quickflange solderless connections and INSONO non-intrusive inspection technology – to new markets.

Wellube has been providing industry-leading, bespoke flow management and intervention services to the oil and gas, renewables, power, petrochemical and infrastructure sectors for over 20 years. Renowned for its pipeline integrity and asset maintenance engineering solutions, the team brings a wealth of market presence and industry knowledge to the partnership.

Garry Kidd, Managing Director of Wellube, said: “This collaboration combines our long-standing market presence and deep understanding of the industrial landscape with ICR’s innovative solutions. We are committed to delivering unrivalled service, and the use of INSONO, Technowrap and Quickflange will enhance our turnkey solution offering for our customers from start to finish.”

Jim Beveridge, Managing Director of ICR Group, said: “Welcoming Wellube to the ICR partner network is an important milestone in our mission to deliver leading integrity solutions worldwide. Wellube’s strong presence in the Middle East and India markets is ideal for the rapid introduction of our advanced technologies into new sectors and to new customers.”

This partnership underscores both companies’ commitment to improving asset maintenance solutions. By combining Wellube’s customer base with ICR’s tailored product line, this collaboration promises to provide a comprehensive suite of services.

ICR’s commitment to innovation is reflected in one of its flagship products, Technowrap, a composite repair system designed for manufacturing facilities. It is a versatile, long-term alternative to steel replacement that offers convenient, cost-effective rehabilitation and minimal disruption to operations.

In addition, INSONO, a non-intrusive composite inspection technique, completes the Technowrap range. This technology allows the detection of bond line anomalies and interlaminar detachments within the composite repair material and thus supports and substantiates the written asset examination schemes.

Quickflange, a high-performance weldless flange-to-pipe connector, is another core offering that addresses scenarios where traditional welding solutions are not practical due to hot work constraints or time limitations.

This strategic partnership with ICR Group will significantly enhance the range of solutions that Wellube offers to its customers. By integrating ICR technologies into our service offerings, we are able to provide even more comprehensive and effective solutions. Wellube remains committed to continuously researching and integrating new technologies to meet and exceed the needs of its customers, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of the industry.
