The Hoyo universe has become a major player in the video game scene. With Honkai: Star Railproducers have created artists like Genshin Impact, Zone Zero Without ZenAnd Honkai Impact. While Honkai: Star Rail has yet to announce whether it will be receiving its own anime adaptation, as Genshin Impact The game is taking the opportunity to branch out into the world of anime next year. Space train passengers are set to share an adventure with participants in the “Holy Grail War” in a collaboration featuring Honkai: Star Rail And Fate/Stay Night has been announced.

Honkai: Star Rail hit gaming platforms last year, billed as a “free-to-play” video game that uses a “gacha” model in which players seek to collect characters to complete various tasks across the fictional universe. While it hasn’t been confirmed whether the residents of Star Rail will be getting their own animated series, the game’s aesthetic certainly makes it feel like it was pulled directly from an anime franchise.

Here’s how Honkai: Star Rail describes the upcoming crossover: “Following on from the recent Xianzhou Odyssey, the latest gamescom trailer introduces Feixiao, The Xianzhou Yaoqing’s Merlin’s Claw and one of the Seven Arbiter-Generals. Additionally, additional revelations regarding the intriguing Fate/stay night (Unlimited Blade Works) anime collaboration have been revealed, with Archer’s surprising arrival aboard the Astral Express, a development that shocks Pom-pom and the crew, and foreshadows the extraordinary journey that awaits them.”

If you haven’t seen Fate/Stay Night The anime adaptation is available to stream on Crunchyroll ahead of the game collaboration. Here’s how the streaming service describes the anime: “The city of Fuyuki, a town surrounded by ocean and mountains, becomes the setting for an age-old ritual. To achieve the mythical Holy Grail, which is said to grant its possessor’s every wish, seven masters are given seven heroic spirits chosen by the Grail… Each master will make a contract with their assigned servants and fight the other masters and servants to the death until only one pair remains… This is the ‘Holy Grail War.'”
