Amitabh Bachchan in shock after KBC contestant makes bizarre request: ‘Can I touch your beard?’

Amitabh Bachchan was left speechless after a contestant made a strange request in the recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati. In the episode that aired on Monday, a contestant named Alka Singh stepped into the contestant’s shoes and tried her luck at winning the grand prize. In between questions, she took a moment to make a request to Amitabh. She asked Big B if she could touch his beard. The request left him in shock.

“This may be awkward for you, but I want to touch your beard,” the contestant said. Amitabh Bachchan’s face darkened, with a look of shock on his face. “You want to touch my beard?” Amitabh asked, checking if he had heard correctly. Alka nodded to reconfirm. “But why?” Amitabh asked, leaving everyone in stitches.

“My brother remains clean-shaven. I want to touch your white beard,” she said, as reported by India Today. Amitabh joked, “When your brother is 87, he too will have a white beard.” He then said he would let her touch it once the episode is over.

Amitabh has been busy this year. The actor starred in the hit film Kalki 2898 AD in June. The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, starred Big B as Ashwatthama. He has also been busy with the shooting of Vettaiyan, his debut Tamil film. Amitabh reunites with Rajinikanth after 32 years for the film. Despite his busy schedule, Amitabh makes sure to meet his fans on Sundays.

Last Sunday, Amitabh also shared pictures of his fan meet on his blog and expressed his gratitude towards them. “The day was all about working on the body and mind… and finally with GOJ DAY… and the joy and heartwarming response that the Efs and well-wishers dedicated their time and energy to be at the gates and express their love… It was such an overwhelming moment and one that was a joy of immense proportions… My gratitude is more than ever,” he wrote on his blog.
